From Beirut… This is Jerusalem

The exhibition explores the journey of young amateur artists residing in Lebanon. It promotes awareness regarding the status of Jerusalem in light of its changing face.
The young participants were invited to be acquainted with the artworks by established artists who depict Jerusalem in their works.

The exhibited works are the result of a workshop led by Al-Jana with young participants, who re-interpreted the original works by simplifying and reconstructing them to re-adapt them to their own vision of Jerusalem with the aim to teach the new generation about the city of Jerusalem through art.

The exhibition is supported by Taawon (Welfare Association) and funded by The Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development.

Runs until 14 September 2022
