A group of Palestinian activists starts a collective dairy farm with 18 head of cattle. Once their “Intifada milk” gains popularity, the Israeli army orders the farm’s closure, declaring the cows a threat to national security.

As a result of being jailed in the Shin Bet’s Al- Moskobiya investigation center at the age of 18, director Raed Andoni has fragments of memories he cannot determine as real or imagined. In order to confront the ghosts that haunt him, he decides to try to rebuild that mysterious place.

The film is inspired by a true story and shot in a real prison with lead actresses Maisa Abdel Hadi and Nadera Omran. It won over 24 international awards and represented Palestine at the Golden Globes and Jordan at the Academy Awards for Best Foreign Film in 2017.
