Arabic Calligraphy Through its Tools with Fadi Awayid

During this guided tour, artist and calligrapher Fadi Awayid will be presenting an overview of writing from ancient civilization until the emergence of the Arabic script. He will also be explaining its origins and development through some of the exhibited items in the collection. The tour will focus on the tools used for the preparation and practice of Arabic calligraphy.

Fadi Awayid is a Syrian calligrapher, teacher and artist who has won international awards for his work in Arabic calligraphy. He is also a
