Migration by the Sea

The number of people who have been forcibly displaced in the last ten years hasn’t stopped increasing. Thousands of migrants have suffered the consequences of war, persecution, poverty and natural disasters, and are turning to dangerously fleeing by sea, putting their lives at the mercy of human traffickers.

Médecins Sans Fontières/Doctors Without Borders (MSF) invites you to an event under the title “Migration by Sea”, which will start with a screening of the short film “Sorry I Drowned”, produced by MSF and Studio Kawakeb, followed by a discussion and readings with the participation of writer Najwa Barakat, MSF Lebanon executive director and writer, Jehan Bseiso, and Search and Rescue operations representative, Frauke Ossig.
