In the framework of the Palestine International Festival for Dance and Music, which is hosting El-Funoun Dance Troupe in Amman, Beirut, Sidon and Tripoli, Dar El-Nimer for Arts and Culture is hosting a talk entitled: "Dabkeh: a cognitive perspective and a social-developmental approach – the experience of El-Funoun Dance Troupe". The talk presents Dabkeh in its political and social context while discussing its aesthetic and role in the intensification of knowledge and popular culture.
