Sabah Fakhri: A Biography and Legacy

Hachette Antoine and Shaza Nassar are pleased to launch the book of 'Sabah Fakhri: A Biography and Legacy'.

Although Shaza Nassar specialised in biochemistry and worked as a professor of pharmacology, she is an amateur of music, visual arts and literature. In 1967, she co-founded the first female musical band in Aleppo, directed by Souheil Al-Rifai. She learned to play the violin at the Music Conservatory of Aleppo and participated in Sister of the Martyr, a play of poetry by Mahmoud Darwish and Yousef Khatib.
