Patchwork and Quilting with Rojer Féghali
The workshop will introduce different techniques of patchwork by incorporating abstract designs and vibrant materials to collectively create a large wall-hanging of needlework at the end of the activity.
This workshop will take place at Borj El-Barajneh’s Active Ageing House alongside its residents. The NGO was founded in 2006 to provide quality programs and opportunities to refugee senior citizens with limited access to support services.
This workshop is part of Dar El-Nimer's 'Awafi', the series of mobile public programs.
Rojer Féghali is a Lebanese artist, painter, collagist and engraver, currently based in Angoulême, France.
All registration fees will go to support the Active Ageing House.
Fabrics for this workshop have been presented by Warde.
