Las Polish Fermentos

In this vegetable and cereal fermentation workshop, participants will share a collaborative and hands-on teamwork experience which aims for a collective conversation. Participants will take a jar of ferments home to observe and appreciate the impact of time on both produce and personal relationships.

Las Polish Fermentos are Suraia Abud, a freelance chef, food anthropologist and culinary artist, and Ana Duarte, a theatrical costume designer and textile and culinary artist. Their Uruguayan-Lebanese fermentation project is based in Spain and is currently on a culinary and artistic tour throughout Italy, Lebanon and Egypt.
