Land of Fear by Daoud Abdel Sayed

A police officer is assigned as an undercover drug dealer with the license to kill, deal in drugs, and do whatever is required for his identity to remain secret. Gradually, after years of losing grip over his mission and purpose, being a drug dealer has become his true identity.

Daoud Abdel Sayed is an Egyptian director and screenwriter. He obtained a bachelor's degree in film directing from the Higher Film Institute of Cairo in 1967. As a child, Abdel Sayed wanted to become a journalist rather than a filmmaker. He started his career as an assistant director in some films such as 'The Land' by Youssef Chahine and 'The Man Who Lost His Shadow' by Kamal El-Shaikh. His passion for observing the city and its people pushed him to make many documentaries. Later, he started making narrative features which marked him as one of the most prominent Egyptian filmmakers.
