LeBAM Jazz Ensemble
The LeBAM Jazz Ensemble is the latest band developed and managed by the Lebanese Band Association for the Promotion of Music (LeBAM).
LeBAM is a unique and comprehensive community based music education program founded in 2008. The program is non-profit, non-exclusive and operates virtually tuition free in five different centers.
The Jazz program currently has two active Jazz ensembles; yet it will be expanded once necessary additional resources are secured.
Membership of the program is open to all ages and based solely on auditions and availability to participate in activities. The weekly rehearsals provide a platform for participants to learn an array of musical skills: standard jazz repertoire, jazz theory, improvisation, history, critical listening skills, and arrangement and composition fundamentals.
