Dar El-Nimer for Arts and Culture invites university students of arts and design majors to take part in a film poster reproduction workshop, based on a selection of film posters from the exhibition Thief of Baghdad. The workshop will also include a guided tour with curator and collector Abboudi Abou Jaoudé to explore the exhibition and have an insight into the posters on display. The workshop is lead by illustrator Joseph Kai from Samandal Association for Comics.

Joseph Kai is a comic book author. His style favours a delicate line and an introspective tone, a merger of a traditional French-Belgian style and an experimental Beiruti tendency. At the moment, he is preparing his new graphic novel Sissies at the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris.
