fter his parents’ separation, the director goes back to live with his mother Nawal, sister Rima and brother Rayan, in a house that resembles the country they live in, Lebanon. A new reality forced the director to confront old questions that need to be asked to build bridges of communication with his family, to help him understand and face this reality. The film recalls the family's forgotten and scattered past through a love story that combined religions, nations, ideologies and wars while contemplating the destiny that awaited such a love story. Throughout the film, the director revisits his mother's choices in an exchange on ambition, love, intellectual and political ideals, while also discussing incapability, disappointment and failure.

Rami Nihawi was born in 1982 in Lebanon and graduated in 2006 with a bachelor's degree from the Fine Arts Institute at the Lebanese University. He participated in various film and theatre productions, fulfilling different roles like acting, camera, editing, directing & producing. He is working as a producer for Sakado LTD.
