The film penetrates the neighbourhoods of Beirut to present the experience of three generations that lived during the war and became its fuel. The story of the boy Nedal (12 years old) is a spontaneous and unique expression of the problems and worries of these generations and their future dreams.

A salute to all the liberation movements in the three continents, the film was filmed for the Havana World Festival for the Youth and Students, Summer 1978.

These films are screened in the framework of the Jean Chamoun month at Dar El-Nimer and will be followed by a Q&A with director Mai Masri.

Jean Chamoun is among the most prominent Lebanese directors who are devoted to documentary cinema and human causes. Chamoun belongs to a generation of filmmakers who created a dramatic change in the pathway of cinema in Lebanon and whose rise occurred with the start of the Lebanese Civil War. He directed and produced with Mai Masri several films which won many international prizes and were aired on more than a hundred television channels around the world.
