Dar El-Nimer for Arts and Culture and the Institute for Palestine Studies are pleased to host in Beirut, four of the founding members of the modern art movement in Palestine.

On the 30th of April, 2019, Palestinian artists Nabil Anani, Sliman Mansour, Tayseer Barakat and Vera Tamari will lead a moderated seminar on the modern Palestinian art movement, its development and impact (Nabil Anani), art and the role of the institution (Sliman Mansour), the New Visions group (Tayseer Barakat) and the current challenges facing the movement (Vera Tamari).

The seminar will be followed by the opening reception of an exhibition showcasing the works of the artists.

The exhibition runs until the 25th of May 2019.
