Lana A. Halabi will be reading Ghassan Kanafani's The Little Lantern, a children's book which he wrote and illustrated for his niece Lamis. The Little Lantern is a story of a princess who has to follow her late father's will and bring the sun into the castle before the candles melt.

Halabi Bookshop is an independent, trilingual bookshop in Beirut which was renovated and reopened in 2017. It offers a variety of vintage and new books, as well as cultural activities and storytelling events.
