The exhibition showcases photographs from Shatha Hanaysha’s journalistic work, capturing the aftermath of the Israeli incursions between 2022 and 2024 in Jenin city and the Palestinian refugee camps in the northern West Bank, precisely Jenin Camp as well as Tulkarm Camp and Nour Shams Camp.
Shatha Hanaysha is a Palestinian journalist hailing from Qabatiya near Jenin in the occupied West Bank. She has been covering the region since 2015, focusing on the Israeli occupation force raids in Jenin and the West Bank.
In May 2022, while fulfilling her role as a correspondent for Ultra Palestine, she survived the shooting that tragically killed Al Jazeera Correspondent Shireen Abu Akleh.
She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Media Studies at the American University of Beirut.
